Role overview

The senior civil engineer leads day-to-day construction, making sure work stays accurate, safe, and on schedule. The role owns site quality, drives coordination between contractors and consultants, and mentors junior engineers across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Below are the core responsibilities of this position.

1. Team manage and supervise all daily site activities

2. Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for accuracy

3. Plan site schedules and track progress against targets

4. Coordinate contractors, consultants, and internal teams

5. Manage site quality checks and QA/QC standards

6. Prepare BOQs, estimates, and technical progress reports

7. Resolve site-related technical and execution issues

8. Ensure adherence to RERA norms and AUDA/local codes

9. Mentor and guide junior site engineers

10. Support material planning, procurement, and site logistics

What we are looking for

We want a senior civil engineer who is proactive, structured, and technically confident. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership, clear communication, and deep construction knowledge.

Core requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of civil/site engineering experience

• Strong understanding of civil, structural, and MEP coordination

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of MS Project or similar is a plus

• Ability to prepare BOQs, estimates, and read complex drawings

• Experience managing contractors and consultant teams

• Familiarity with RERA and local building regulations

• Strong problem-solving skills and site leadership

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP Software is an advantage
